Lovers & Lieder in the Conservatory
Romantic songs by Schumann and Mahler

We're excited to have Ping & Woof Opera return to Villa Catalana Cellars this February for our Lovers & Lieder in the Conservatory concert.
This romantic recital features Lieder (German art songs for voice and piano) by two of music history’s greatest married couples. Performed by local operatic power couple Jocelyn Claire Thomas and Zachary Lenox. The program includes the entirety of Robert and Clara Schumann’s collaborative song cycle, 12 Gedichte aus Liebesfrühling, as well as Gustav Mahler’s Rückert-Lieder and songs by Alma Mahler.
Due to the popularity of last year's event, there will be two opportunities to attend February 2nd and February 9th 2025 each begin at 3pm. The performances will be in the Conservatory and guests will be surrounded by rare tropical plants. Join us for an afternoon concert. This will be an intimate parlor concert and seating is very limited.

Wine will be available by the bottle and charcuterie plates will be available for pre-purchase*. No outside food or beverage please. Gates open at 2:20pm. The cost is $25 for the concert (per person). Our wine price ranges from $25-30 per bottle and can be purchased upon arrival. Wine purchase is optional.

Open Garden & Nursery Sale

The ONE weekend a year we open our wholesale nursery to the public. The greenhouses will be open for viewing and plant purchase. The the winery will also be open. The event is FREE to attend and NO reservations needed either day.
One Day Nursery Sale
Saturday June 21st 11am-4pm
A one day sale and last chance to tour the greenhouses and pick up some plants at great prices. The winery will also be open. The event is FREE to attend and NO reservations needed.
Opera Picnic
Sunday July 27th 5:30pm
Grab your picnic basket and join us for an evening of arias performed by Ping & Woof. Featuring aria selections based on dreams. The second half features the short opera "the Dream" written for Jocelyn Thomas and Emily Pulley. Bring your own picnic and short chair or blanket and wine glass. Wine will be sold by the bottle upon arrival. $25 per person. Further details to come.

Join us for a unique and incredible dinner in the gardens prepared by Field & Vine and live opera performed between courses by Ping & Woof Opera. $160 per person including wine. Further details to come.

One last chance to grab your picnic basket and join us for an evening of arias performed by Ping & Woof as they present an abridged version of Motzart's Cosi fan Tutte.
